The African American Biography Series of 2013 featuring the lives of Dorothy I. Height, Mary McLeod Bethune and the National Council of Negro Women.  Mary McLeod Bethune founded the National Council of Negro Women in 1935.  In 1957, Dorothy I. Height became the President of NCNW and remained the President for 40 years until 1997.  Dorothy I. Height fought for the Civil Rights of Black Women and all people until her death in 2010.  She was 98 years old.
