The Founding Firsts, Cinco de Mayo, and St. Patrick's Day

Once upon a time, The MADASHECC Radio Show stuck to the schedule of "Founding Firsts" where we highlighted a particular Founding Father on the first Saturday of the month.  I will honor that schedule tonite by highlighting my favorite Founding Father, Thomas Jefferson.  However, one hour simply isn't enough to adequately chronicle this ever important man, so I will only discuss some important misconceptions that people have of Thomas Jefferson, and will honor him more fully in another show dedicated solely to him later on.

For the remainder of the show we will discuss things like Cinco de Mayo and why it is that celebrating Cinco de Mayo is NOT the same thing as celebrating St. Patrick's Day.
