On today's podcast, we have as our special guest, MARK FLEMING, the Chief Economist of First American.  Mark will be giving us his views on the economy as well as discussing the challenges facing an increasing number of Americans hoping to achieve the American dream of homeownership.  This involves issues such as increasing economic mobility what can be done to enhance economic growth which are as important today as they have ever been.  

Additionally, Mark will be answering questions such as the following: 

• How’s the economy doing?  What do you look at to assess it’s health?
• When will the Fed raise rates?  What’s the impact of such low rates for so long?
• How do you assess the state of the housing market?  Is it all about prices? Sales volumes? Or are there other metrics that you look at?
• Are you concerned about the declining homeownership rate?  Is it that Important to our society, economy?
• What has caused the decline in homeownership?
• What’s the prospect for it in the future given the demographic trends?
• Why is this a societal, political issue.  Does it matter to everyone?
