Hollywood's Lesbians

The topic for Thurs. show will be Lesbian depictions on TV, and in Film....L Word's Ilene Chaiken sed she'd bring real lesbians into middle america's living room...and we all had high hopes that our time had come, finally! Now, america would see that Lesbians are not sex starved freaks waiting for a man to complete their 3sum; nor disloyal issue-laden deviants...but much to all of our disappointment, she only showed that lesbians are all the above, and murderers to boot! I'm working on a guest...will be either a lesbian whose played a lesbian on TV or Film, or someone who's written for or worked in the creation of a tv show or film that featured a lesbian lifestyle or relationship. Any movies or television shows that have taken a stab at adding a lesbian charachter/storyline are up for discussion...your opinions regarding realism, exaggeration, sensationalism, etc. will be discussed, as well as the "dyke hype marketing" that's made america ready to put their $$ down for "any"; good, bad , picture of women kissing or screwin'.
