The believer in Christ Part 4

The believer stands before God in peace with Him, (Rom. 5:1) having their conscience cleared and cleansed by the blood of Jesus by the water of the Word, (John 3:4-5; Eph. 5:26) and by the Spirit of God unto obedience, (1 Pete. 1:2). The believer is preserved unto the day of redemption, (Eph. 1:13-14). For this reason God has given the believer an anchor for the soul and it is behind the veil where Christ has entered in by His own blood and has purchased us for salvation, (Heb. 6:19. The corrupt nature, that is called the old man was derived from our first father Adam, has now been crucified with Christ in every believer, the work of the cross has weakened the old man so that it is in continuous dying state, Gal. 5:24).
