Ernie Saxton is a man in the racing industry that needs no introductions. Truly a legend in our sport and a man that LD&D calls “The Hall of Famer”. His 50 plus years of being affiliated with Grandview Speedway continues along with his ongoing writing in local and national racing publications. Ernie stays very busy this time of year with his continued work with Len Sammons Productions indoor racing events and annual Motorsports show. The 2017 PPB Motorsports show in Oaks, PA is set to get started this weekend and quick on its heels is the 15th Annual Atlantic City Indoor event January 27th and 28th wrapping up the 2016-2017 Indoor Racing Championship Series fueled by VP Racing Fuel. Ernie will have the details and a few stories for sure.

Larry Wight may still be pinching himself as he joins us on the phone Tuesday night. Larry has just returned home from the 31st Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire in Tulsa Oklahoma. The most prestigious event of its kind drawing over 350 cars for the event and all are vying to be one of the final 24 cars that will compete in Saturday night’s 55-lap A-Main. Larry Wight modified driver from Phoenix, NY did it. Beating out some of the top talent in the country in only his second try at the Chili Bowl is a great accomplishment. Be with us to hear how he was able to pull this off.
