    day in and day out i sit and wait for the day to come and go
    i wait for the sun to fall to earth and burn me alive from its heat
    make my pain go far away from my unhappy home
    hearts that have been broken so many times over and over
    i wonder why i even try to understand
    let this pain end
    let it all disappear in the heat of this sun
    burn all of it away to a land never seen
    into the dust and blow in the wind
    day in and day out waiting for this pain to end
