Jane Hersey, author of Why Can't My Child Behave? Is the director of the nonprofit Feingold Association (www.ADHDdiet.org), which helps children and adults with learning/behavior problems. This book addresses the connections between diet and behavior, with great research, great suggestions and many examples of children who were helped by the Feingold Diet, including her first child, Laura. Hersey explains that when she put Laura on the diet halfheartedly, her daughter did not improve, but when she used the diet correctly, Laura had a complete turnaround.
