Our guest today is Renae Johnson, author and waitress on the hit Christian and gospel themed variety show on RFD-TV. Renae is one of the show's lead characters.  Renae The Waitress, is celebrating the release of her brand-new book, Diary of A Waitress, which was released May 2015. The book tells her inspiring, fairytale story of becoming an actress on the show through her dear friend Larry Black, and also reveals more personal revelations about losing one of her precious sons in a tragic accident. From there, she had to somehow find the faith and strength to move on and trust wholeheartedly that he was our Savior's arms.

Larry’s Country Diner is a unique down-home variety show which integrates entertainment, interviews and music in a weekly format, taped LIVE in front of a studio audience in a country diner setting. The show features regular characters including Black, Keith Bilbrey, Sheriff Jimmy Capps, Waitress Renae and avid church lady, Nadine along with special guest appearances by country music artists of yesterday and today. Since its initial airing on August 3, 2009, Larry’s Country Diner has produced over 100 episodes and has become one of the most popular shows on RFD television, garnering 1.4 million viewers monthly.
