Our guest today is filmmaker Andre Johnson.

Andre` Johnson 44, born in Chicago, IL grew up in Saginaw, MI is a brilliant Screenplay Writer | Director | Filmmaker always had a passion for film dating back to when he was adopted at the age of 5 years old. A true started from the bottom testimony and now, making something of himself filmmaker.  He credits his courage and determination to a promise he made to his adopted mother Linnie Mae Johnson while in the hospital on her death bed. 

Johnson first started to seriously write back in 2005, when younger brother Pastor Carlos Smith suggested that he write a book about his life. But write the book not for monetary gain, but for the many of kids living a life of poverty, violence and for those extremely high number of orphans that do not have someone they can relate to and look up to for hope. Johnson wrote his first unpublished book back in 2004 (Q) Prison or Death - (A) Neither, Says God. The reason for the unpublished book is because Johnson is still writing current chapters of his life today. 

Currently, Johnson is in the initial stages of crowd funding to launch his own independent film production company Lithium Films in Dallas, TX where he's been a resident for over 25 years.
