Ric Flair has survived a wrestling series with Ricky Steamboat, but now he finds his career and health in jeopardy as he faces the man from the Double Cross Ranch, Terry Funk. Great American Bash '89 sees the rise of Sting, the Great Muta, and Lex Luger, as each star positions himself to be the man who will take WCW into the 1990s.

.......

WCW was the genesis of fandom for millions of pro wrestling enthusiasts over the course of a tumultuous 12 and half year run. From Starrcade of 1988 all the way to Greed of 2001, the company's fortunes, their glories and missteps, can be traced though their larger than life PPV events.

Shane, (@OneManHypeBand), formerly of LOP Radio's Impact the Revolution, returns to the LOPR airwaves to present this special series looking back upon the legacy of one of the most important entities in the history of pro wrestling. What was good, what was bad, most important why it meant so much to him as a developing fan and why it should mean so much to you now, as a fan far removed from the company's glory days.

WCW: The Legacy Series is more than a review or recap show. Far more. It's the story of a legacy. It's the story of modern mythological beings, still close enough to reach out and touch. Join us for the journey.
