Interview with Guitarist Steve Morse

Steve Morse is a guitar legend. From his groundbreaking work with The Dixie Dregs, to the wide variety of styles he's covered in the Steve Morse Band, Morse is undeniably one of the most respected guitarists in the world by both peers and fans. He's won the Guitar Player magazine Best Overall Guitarist five straight years, putting him in the Gallery of Greats alongside Steve Howe. Morse also played with Kansas for two albums in the 80s and has been the lead guitarist in Deep Purple for sixteen years now, revitalizing that band in the process. Morse joined us on Long Live Rock to discuss the new Steve Morse Band album 'Out Standing In Their Field', as well as his long and illustrious career, and we also played three tracks from the new album!
