LaNissir & her supportive husband, Lorenzo are celebrating over 22 years of marriage.  They have 7 amazing children ages 19, 15, 13, 11, 9, 6 & 1 years old.  They are advocates for homeschooling and have been homeschooling for over a decade.

LaNissir is the Ministry Director at Calvary Gospel Home Educators that offers support to homeschool families in Cooperative Education, Classical Christian Education and a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) program registered to supervise home instruction.

LaNissir believes that the most rewarding aspects to homeschooling is the freedom to lead her children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and using curriculums written from a Christian perspective in their academic studies.

She has been studying in a Master of Biblical Studies program for over two years at Calvary Christian College and recently returned from the footsteps of Paul tour to Greece, Turkey & Italy.  She earned her B.S. degree in Journalism with a minor in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland – College Park.  She is also a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Certified Practitioner with over 15 years of experience.  LaNissir left her Public Relations job at NBC’s Today Show over 24 years ago to work from home as an Independent Senior Sales Director in Mary Kay, Inc.

LaNissir is in the process of publishing her first of many books titled “Joyful Mother of Children.”  One of LaNissir’s favorite scriptures about children is Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
