Charles Johnson was born into a military family with strong moral beliefs. With being the son of a retired Command Sergeant Major and an Apostolic Pastor, it was instilled in him at an early age to strive for excellence without excuse. Having received numerous awards for leadership both in the classroom and on the athletic field, Charles came to recognize that those same leadership skills could be used in many facets of life. He attended Winston-Salem State University where his love of music together with his strong personal drive thrust him into the music industry. Charles went on to complete his degree at Apex School of Theology in Research Triangle Park, NC. As you might guess, Charles still holds strong ties to his religious upbringing. He has had the honor of serving as a Sr. Pastor and is currently a consecrated Bishop within a nationally recognized religious organization headquartered in Durham, NC. Moreover, Charles is married to his beautiful wife Pamela and they have two sons together and two granddaughters.
