Why are people so hard on the "church"?

We plan to have a round table discuss on why are people so hard on the church. People complain about mega churches. They talk about small church. They say that the church is not doing anything. They say that the church is only after money. They say the Pastors of large churches have too much. Small church pastor's should not look that way. Come join in on this discussion.
