THROUGH JESUS, MEN HAVE AUTHORITY AND POWER!

BIBLEBOOKCLUB: OT: GENESIS 50:1-EXODUS 2:10, NT: MATTHEW 16:13-17:9, PSALM 21:1-13, PROVERBS 5:1-6 

In Exodus, Chapter 1, after Joseph and his brothers died, the new King of Egypt noticed there was a population explosion among the Jewish people. The King was afraid that the Jewish people would rebel against his kingdom, so made them slaves in the land. But that didn't work. The more the king persecuted and oppressed them, the more the Jewish people they thrived and multiplied. Then the King told the midwives to kill all the male children at birth (abortion), but the girls were allowed to live. FRIENDS, THE ENEMY (SATAN) HATES MEN! WHY? BECAUSE MEN ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD! MEN ARE MADE TO BE THE HEAD OF THE HOME! MEN HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO INHERIT THE BLESSINGS AND AUTHORITY OF GOD TO RULE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS. HOWEVER, WHEN THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT GOD IS DOING IN THEIR LIVES, MEN NEGATE THE PROMISES OF GOD IN THEIR LIVES AND THE ENEMY TRIES TO DESTROY THEM WITH PRIDE, SIN OR DECEPTION! FRIENDS, LETS CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR ALL MEN! PRAY ALL MEN WILL TURN TO JESUS AND TAKE THEIR RIGHTFUL PLACE IN GOD! Galatians 3:11 Consequently, it is clear that no one can ever win God’s favor by trying to keep the Jewish laws because God has said that the only way we can be right in his sight is by faith. As the prophet Habakkuk says it, “The MAN who finds life will find it through trusting God.”
