BIBLEBOOKCLUB: OT:Jeremiah 37:1-38:28, NT: 1 Timothy 6:1-21, Psalm: 89:38-52, Proverbs: 25:28. In today's OT scripture, King Zedekiah asked Jeremiah to meet him in secret. King Zedekiah wanted Jeremiah to give him the latest news (prophecy) from God. Jeremiah told Zedekiah, If you surrender to Babylon army, your family and the city of Jerusalem will not be burned. Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, "I am afraid to surrender because the King of Babylon will turn me over to my people and who knows what THEY will do to me." Jeremiah replied " You won't get into their hands If only you will obey the Lord; your life will be spared and all will go well for you. But if you refuse to surrender, the Lord said that you will not escape the King of Babylon and this city will be burned. FRIENDS, THIS REALLY HAPPENED. KING ZEDEKIAH DIDN'T OBEY GOD AND HIS FAMILY WAS KILLED AND HE WAS TAKEN AS A SLAVE TO BABYLON! WE MUST OBEY GOD! HE HAS THE POWER TO RESTORE AND CHANGE OUR LIVES. PRAY FOR THE LEADERS OF AMERICA LET THEM TURN BACK TO GOD AND OBEY GOD'S WILL FOR AMERICA!
