Sallyan is an ordinary woman who was deeply, profoundly lost in the wilderness of fear and self-doubt resulting from a brutal, traumatic childhood. After forty years of despair, she called out to God for help to bring an end to her suffering and anguish. Suddenly, instantly, she found herself in the presence of a radiant being—an angel—and moments later, Jesus, who embraced her, enfolded her in his all-encompassing, perfect love.
