Dr. Richard P. Brown, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Columbia University, gives over 200 lectures each year has over 90 scientific publications. His neurophysiological theory explores effects of yoga breathing on mental health. A certified teacher of Aikido, yoga, Qigong, and meditation, his Breath~Body~Mindã workshops train healthcare providers and yoga therapists.

Patricia Gerbarg, MD, Assistant Professor in Psychiatry NY Medical College, graduate Harvard Medical School and Boston Psychoanalytic Institute, has been in practice for 35 years.
