Light08 Radio Presents Gavin Christopher

Many of you who enjoy the old school music are fans of Chaka Khan and Rufus. Many of you who enjoy jazz have an affinity towards legendary Oscar Brown Jr. and Herbie Hancock. My guest today has a unique connection to all of the aforementioned. He wrote some of Rufus best hits such as 'Once you get started' and 'Fools paradise' actually discovered Chaka Khan and sang one of Herbie Hancock's most memorable and one of my favorites, 'Stars in your eyes. He has either written, worked with, sung with or produced for all of them. He has a distinct soulful voice and for you lovers and others, he can sing a love song like so few can. One of Chicago's own native sons, Gavin Christopher is my special guest today. He's still singing, writing, and producing and actually penned an inspiring song for the President. I'd like you to join me on today's SOS and show the love to someone who has shown us all so much love with his music and his talent as well as some of the insights he has which he shared with me.
