Suhail A. Khan is a Washington, D.C.-based attorney and serves as the Chairman of the Conservative Inclusion Coalition, an organization dedicated to promoting the conservative message to Americans of all ethnic, racial and faith backgrounds. Suhail previously served as Policy Director and Press Secretary on Capitol Hill and as a senior political appointee with the Bush administration including in the White House assisting in the President's outreach to various faith communities. He also served in several positions at the U.S. Department of Transportation, including as Legal Counsel and Assistant to the Secretary for Policy. While at U.S. DOT, Suhail was awarded the Secretary's Team Award in 2005 and the Gold Medal for Outstanding Achievement in 2007. Suhail serves on the boards of various organizations including the American Conservative Union, the Indian American Conservative Council, and on the Buxton Initiative Advisory Council. He has spoken at venues such as the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), the Council for National Policy (CNP), the Harbour League, and the National Press Club and has written opinion pieces for various publications including the Daily Caller, Esquire, and the Washington Post/Newsweek Forum On Faith. Suhail has worked on key political campaigns in California, Iowa, Colorado, Washington, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Louisiana, and most recently Massachusetts for Scott Brown's campaign for U.S. Senate. Born in Boulder, Colorado to parents who emigrated to the U.S. from southern India, Suhail earned a B.A. from University of California at Berkeley in 1991 and a J.D. from University of Iowa in 1995.
