In the past few years, the real estate industry has seen a consumer shift in how people get information on the value of their homes. People are becoming more and more comfortable using technology in their everyday lives and as such, the real estate industry is seeing more and more people turn first to their digital devices versus contacting a Realtor.

Consumers are empowered. They are going online to find their own neighborhood information and sales data. For digitally savvy consumers, the era of contacting a Realtor to find out their home’s values is almost gone. The days of having a Realtor show up at your door with a comparative market analysis seems old and antiquated to them. Sadly however, many people are taking the information they come across online as fact and unfortunately are being deceived.

This episode will focus on where to find the best information about your neighborhood market and more importantly, why going to a national site isn't the best option for getting local sales data.
