Unit Curriculum of Pastoral Studies IV: ?July 10, 2017 – August 14, 2017 (On Mondays)

Description of the classes:

Pastoral Care vs. Pastoral Counseling Protocol I & II will explore distinct aspects and characteristics of pastoral care in comparison to pastoral counseling. The objective of the courses are to examine the different modalities of each discipline and review any critical developments of each discipline in efforts to enhance the formation and professional identities of those who engage in the practices of pastoral care or pastoral counseling.

Grief Counseling course’s objective is to provide an easy, effective way for pastors to care for and empower grieving people towards a new life and greater wholeness on their journey.

CCTI offers an intensive one year Pastoral Studies Track (45 credit hours total) designed to help expand the paradigm for those who watch over a flock or feel the call to the pastorate. The Bible-based courses combine technique and principles of teaching, counseling, deliverance, spiritual warfare, and discipleship, to prepare the body of Christ to minister to the nations. Courses may be modified throughout the year dependent upon registered participation. Classes will be held on Monday evenings from 6:30p to 9:30p (CST).
