Let's Talk Kingdom with Catrina-Interview with Recording Artist Jubii-Lee

Gwendolyn Denise Lewis was born and raised in Houston Texas. After graduating high school in 1983 she moved to LA to pursue a career in acting. While in LA she met up with her now ex-husband Terry Lewis of which she had met previously in Texas at a Prince concert. In 1984 they moved to Minneapolis Mn and got married. Her daughter Chloe was born that same year. Being married to Terry Lewis gave Gwen great opportunities to sing background vocals for Alexander O'Neal,Janet Jackson and many other secular artist. Gwen even sang background on the theme song of the hit comedy show "In living color". She divorced in 1991,her life began on a downward spiral out of control. Gwen began looking to the world to fill the emptiness she felt inside. This resulted in a string of mental and physical abuse relationships. In 2003 she began seeking and exploring religions. On Easter Sunday 2003 Gwen attended services at Bread of Life church in Minneapolis Mn and gave her life over to the Lord and from there started her new journey of getting to know God personally. Best decision she ever made. In 2004 Gwen had her second child Jazmine. Being a single mom terrified Gwen but she knew with her new relationship with God all she had to do was pray and ask him to see her through it. In 2008 Gwen started to write songs about the love she found in Christ. In 2010 God placed it in her heart to do her first gospel album. Gwen's desire with this album is to bless the lost, abandoned, and seemingly hopeless with Gods love through her music. Even though this has been a tough journey with putting together this album Gwen has never lost faith that Gods purpose and plan for her life will be fulfilled.
