One King- One Kingdom

Ancient Israel desired a king like other nations, one they could see, hear and touch with their carnal senses. In doing this, they rejected God's sovereign lordship over their lives and put their trust in human power and ingenuity. In the same way, those who claim to be God's chosen people today, professing Christians claim that Christ is their King.Yet, they put their ultimate trust in the systems of men and their leaders, corrupt politicians and hireling religious leaders, one and the same.

In doing so, they also reject the Holy Spirit's lordship over their lives in exchange for the frailty and duplicity of human power and corruption.
