Rev. Sherry Thompson - Staying In The Game To Win

Staying in the game to win.  How can I do that?  God's Word has just the answers you're looking for.  Paul talks about the discipline necessary to win and the danger of being disqualified.  I don't know if he himself played any sports, but it's clear that he was fully acquainted with the athletic world in the society live in today.  When he wanted to sum up his life in 2 Timothy 4:7, he said, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." The first phrase comes from boxing with life, and the second from running the race and fighting to stay in the game to win.  He is a great example of running the race and staying in the game to win.  You can fight, and win your battles, tune in to hear the answers you've been searching for!
