Obaid Kadwani is an actor, producer, model, tv-host, emcee, entreprenuer and the founder of A Slice of Hope. Obaid Kadwani is often referred to as “the Ryan Seacrest of Bollywood.”  He is the host of the national television network "Namaste America," acting as the host of entertainment shows and anchoring the weekly news round-up. Obaid has appeared on the Sundance Channel, hosted numerous live events, and appeared in numerous commercials and industrial films for companies ranging from Target to Schering-Plough. He has also enjoyed a successful career as a runway model for top designers, and print model for a variety of major consumer brands including IBM, Microsoft, Nokia, Verizon, Heinz, Panasonic and Hershey's.

Obaid’s films include "New York", "Badmaash Company" and the upcoming romantic thriller, "Pyar Mein Kyun (Why in Love?)." He has numerous stage credits, and his voiceover work has ranged from Walmart commercials to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's 2006 re-election campaign. A lifelong entrepreneur, he started his first succesful company while still in college. He created the non-profit organization eyeBLINK in 2006 to foster multicultural arts and in 2007 he founded A Slice of Hope, dedicated to addressing the issues of hunger, homelessness and despair in America. Each year A Slice of Hope sponsors events at food banks and shelters across the US raising awareness to the plight of over 47 million people in America who struggle with hunger.
