Photobucket Book Talk Radio with your host Lawrence J. King we would like to welcome Ibby Cline. Ibby is a folk singer, songwriter, and professional musician originally from Southern California who calls the mountains South and West of Boulder, Colorado home. She taught herself how to play guitar and sing at ten, and wrote her first song in college at nineteen. Ibbys musical sensibility took root in being bathed in and loving the Beatles from birth, branched out from there, and today reflects a broad tapestry of styles and genres. She has performed all over Colorado. She has also performed in Cheyenne, Laramie, Hastings, Lexington, Nashville, San Diego, Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. She has performed on bills with with Lee Johnson, Carey Colvin, Benny and the Wayward Sons, Arthur Lee, Nick Forster, Wendy Woo, Hazel Miller, Boulder Acoustic Society, Soundrabbit, Rebecca Folsom, and Yonder Mountain String Band. Ibbys music has been described as "gutsy, honest, and rockin." She has many influences but her sound is uniquely her own. It's beautiful folk pop that is both light and dark, often playful and whimsical, sometimes edgy, and always straight from the heart. Ibby recently completed a 5 song EP: "Just Five, Studio - Live!" that is now available for download from CD Baby.com, at her live shows, and through her website. She has received radio airplay on KGNU Boulder and KKCR Kaui. It's Alright By Me received television airplay on the Fox Sport's Network's show "Sno Motion."
