In the preceding episode, the question - who is God (2Samuel 22:32)? - is answered, the great power of God is identified, and the heir of God is shown. The LORD (the testator), in his Will, has said to me (Psalm 77:14 and Psalm 86:10): "Thou art the God that doest wonders: for thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone." God is now made known. And, who is God? It is written(Psalm 118:27, Revelation 22:5): God is the LORD, which hath showed us (the people and the Gentiles) light: the Lord God giveth them light. Now, the testator, by his will, anwers the question - who is the LORD (Proverbs 30:9)? The LORD has said (Zechariah 14:9, 1Kings 18:21) - There shall be one LORD: if the LORD be God, follow him. And the testator reveals the LORD (1Kings 18:39, Isaiah 39:5, 1Chronicles 17:24, Psalm 45:11, Judges 8:23, 1Corinthians 6:19, Romans 14:8, Genesis 44:16, John 2:5): The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God. Hear the word of the LORD of hosts: the LORD of hosts is the God of (having the designation of) Israel: he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. The LORD shall rule over you. Ye are not your own: we are the Lord's. Behold, we are my lord's servants: whatsoever he saith to you, do it. The testator says to me: (Nehemiah 9:6, 1Chronicles 17:26) - Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; And now , LORD, thou art God. Genesis 44:20, John 8:41 - We (the people) have a father, an old man. We have one Father, even (namely) God. The LORD has said to me: John 8:41 - Ye do the deeds of your father.
