The truth and its connection to the Great Falling away

This week we discuss the systems of the world.  Called "cosmos" in the Bible.  Among those systems are the legal systems, the religious systems, the public education systems, the political systems, the medical systems and others.  The Bible instructs the people of God not to "love" the world (cosmos) or the THINGS of the world.  In fact, the Bible makes clear that a person cannot love God if he/she loves the world and the things of the world.  Else-where we are told that friendship with the world is HATRED toward God.  Did anyone really tell you these basic truths in church and do you see it really practiced as part of their religious organization?
