Aging happens slowly. In too many cases, those living in Westernized cultures are living an unhealthy lifestyle and receiving inadequate healthcare and experiencing an epidemic involving chronic inflammatory diseases that lead to diabetes, cardiac disease, hypertension, stroke, cancer, and other diseases that rob them of living a fulfilling, healthy life. All of us age, but those with these disorders age much more quicly and lead sub-optimal lives. Join us on a previously broadcast discussion on this important topic: Syndrome X, Y and Z (Metabolic Syndrome) with our host and his guests of experts on this subject from a ground-breaking medical meeting of the National Hispanic Medical Association being held in Washington DC in the earlier part of this year. Our host, Leonard A. Rubinstein, M.D., F.A.A.C.S., F.A.A.Oto-HNS/F, was an invited speaker on the Faculty of experts at this meeting where this topic was being discussed. Dr. Rubinstein is a Diplomat of the International Board of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and Diplomat of the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. With over 25 years of private practice , Dr. Rubinstein is a sought-after teacher and leader in his field of expertise. Dr. Rubinstein is on the Clinical Faculty of the LECOM and a Visiting Professor at the Zunyi College of Medicine (P. R. of China).
