Tibet Aid also promotes Tibetan cultural preservation and supports educational and medical relief programs for Tibetan refugees and Tibetans living in their homeland on the Tibetan Plateau. Kathleen Nolan, MD, MSL - Dr. Nolan trained in the fields of medicine and bioethics, earning her degrees from Yale Medical School and Yale Law School. She has worked primarily with non-profit Buddhist groups for the past 20 years. Dr. Nolan works as an independent problem-solving consultant and has served as Tibet Aid’s Executive Director since 2003.
