Join LaKisha Nevels (a.k.a. LNevels) and special guest Terron Sims II as we share some of Terron's life.

About Terron Sims:

Terron is a graduate of US Military Academy at West Point, he's served in Iraq, established and mentored the government in Baghdad's Tisa Nissan District, liaisoned to the CPA and United Nations.

Terron has supervised early stages of designing a mult-million dollar real world fighting village for the Joint Readiness Training Center.  Presently he's a team lead for developing DoD's sexual assault case tracking system (DSAID).

He served as the co-chair for Virginia Veterans for Obama, as well as, the defense and veterans policy team. Terron sits on the Board of Principals for the Truman National Security Project, In addition, he is the President of the Northern Virginia Black Democrats, chairs the 8th Congressional District steering committe.

He has published two novels, With Honor In HandHands of Honor and has written his Iraq memoires, Baghdad Peace and wrote his first screen play: One Crazy Night on the Jersey Shore.

He regularly tutors and mentors and is an education/community activist in throughtout Virginia.
