Slaves of The Mill - Working Children in Victorian Times

Children as young as five worked in textiles mills in the early part of the 18th Century. Children and women worked in the mines pulling heavy carts and children were forced to climb chimneys to sweep them. It was a cruel life for poor or orphaned children sold in to work.
