Born and raised in Baltimore MD, Capital P came from humble beginnings. The product of a single parent household, his upbringing included many trials and tribulations that shaped the person he is today. His first name Austin, is the capital of the state of Texas, hence the name "Capital." His lyrical rap style was recognized by his peers at an early age, which earned he the name Capital Punishment aka Cap P His entrepreneurial ambitions have played an important role in establishing the entertainment company known as S.C.E (Suspect Conditions Entertainment) S.C.E was co-founded by group members Lucky Leww and Concept, and has become a stomping ground for some of the most talented artist on the east coast. His style of rap is known as "Revolutionary Street-Hop", which includes elements of a new age revolutionary mentally. Combine that with the mentality of the streets, lifestyle of the "murderlands" and the hip hop culture in its purest form, and you have an art form that is truly the "voice of the people."
