American singer, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur. Her musical style combines elements of R&B, jazz, hip-hop, soul, and gospel music. Surel draws inspiration from diverse influences Mary-Mary, Billie Holiday, and Lauren Hill, by blending her soulful vocal delivery with a positive Christian message. Surel won international recognition after releasing her debut album, “For My Good” in 2006.
