Jake Tripucka, second-year midfielder for Major League Lacrosse's Charlotte Hounds, discusses with Lacrosse Lounge host Phil Shore (Lacrosse Magazine, New England Lacrosse Journal) what it's like for him to to be a professional lacrosse player and what's going on with the Hounds after five games in the 2014 season.

Tripucka comes from a family of professional athletes. His grandfather, Frank, was a quarterback in the NFL, AFL and CFL, and his No. 18 jersey was retired by the Denver Broncos (before Tripucka gave his approval for Peyton Manning to wear it in 2012). His father, Kelly, played in the NBA from 1981 to 1991 and is a two-time All-Star. His brother, Travis, is a free agent long snapper in the NFL.

Tripucka helped Duke win two NCAA Division 1 national championships in 2010 and 2013 and was a big part of Charlotte's run to the 2013 MLL Championship game.
