This question is related to the "Free Trade" agreements that are on the table. Panama. Columbia. South Korea. The purpose of a free trade agreement is bring down barriers and to open up markets for each countries respective products. The question is this: prove that any one free trade agreement has benefited America. This is not an issue of wealth creation, this is an issue of jobs. When has a free trade agreement created more jobs for Americans, here, then it has overseas? The second question is directed to Republicans: How is it that you will create jobs when you contend that you will take government out of the question? The third question is: the tax cuts now expiring are indeed a tax increase that restores levels from 1993 to 2001. The tax cut was driven by the 2002 congress when it was determined that our budget would have a surplus of 1.5 trillion in the next ten years, circa 2000. These tax cuts were never paid for and now, the Republican house wants to have these temporary tax cuts extended . . . how will you pay for it now?
