The Gennady Golovkin vs David Lemieux Pay-Per-View is done. We're just waiting on sales numbers, which will be manipulated accordingly. But it sure felt like an important event. Basically Golovkin bludgeoned the daylights out of Lemieux at Madison Square Garden.

In the co-feature, Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez showed exactly why he's considered the best fighter in the world by many, methodically breaking down Brian Viloria over nine rounds, retaining the flyweight title.

The undercard featured Luis Ortiz taking out Matias Vidondo, and Tureano Johnson out-classing Eamonn O'Kane. We'll get to that stuff.

In a Premier Boxing Champions main event on NBC, Lamont Peterson barely got by Felix Diaz Jr, while Terrel Williams upset Prichard Colon by DQ in a strange and now potentially tragic fight. (Prichard Colon remains in a coma as of posting - thoughts, prayers welcome.)

A different PBC card on Spike brought action, with Andrzej Fonfara defeating Nathan Cleverly in the main event, and Kohei Kono beat Koki Kameda in the co-feature. It was fun, damnit.

On HBO this coming weekend, Terence Crawford faces Dierry Jean. Cool.

There's other news... Kell Brook injured, Antonio Tarver testing positive again, Sergey Kovalev vs Jean Pascal II, Andre Ward's return. James Foley of Bad Left Hook and The Fight City's Patrick Connor are on it.

Thanks for tuning in!
