This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome Sean “XPAC” Waltman! First gaining attention in 1991 as The Lightning Kid on nationally broadcasted GWF events, Waltman made waves with his innovative high-flying offense. In 1993, he got signed by WWE. Now known as “The 1-2-3 Kid,” Waltman utilized his spectacular moves in the ring to become the ultimate underdog against larger opponents such as Razor Ramon. In 1994, he challenged Bret “The Hit Man” Hart for the WWE Championship in one of the most memorable RAW main events of that time period. Waltman moved over to WCW in 1996, joining Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash in the now. Achieving championship success in WCW’s cruiserweight division, Waltman had action-packed encounters with opponents such as Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho. Waltman returned to WWE in 1998. Now known as “XPAC,” Waltman joined D-Generation X alongside Triple H and The New Age Outlaws. Segments involving this group provided some of the wildest moments of the Monday Night Wars. In the years since leaving WWE, Waltman continues to be one of the most in-demand performers all over the world, performing in promotions as diverse as TNA, MTV’s Wrestling Society X, and AAA in Mexico.
