Isaiah 59:1………….. Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.

Sin: to miss the mark (came up short) deals with the act of wrong doing

Sin by commission -

Iniquity: separates, deals with the character or nature of the act

Psalm 32:5… I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

• Iniquity must be challenged – must acknowledged
• Iniquity must be corrected – confess it
• chang should be seen                                                                                                                                                                                                             Psalm 14:4

Iniquity Causes three things

• They hate God’s people
• They hurt God’s people
• They will harm God’s people
