Heb 12:2
We must persevere in our purpose
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 
  
The joy of Obedience should never be associated with the act itself. 
 
Joy is a inside your heart experience, not a outside through the body sensation.
 
The joy of obedience is found in accomplishing the will of God, not the will of men.  We can never associate the will of God will fill good, do good be good.
 
It can only be associated with Obedience to the revealed will of God for your life.
