The Houston Astros 10-4 win over the Angels wrapped up a sweep of the AL West counterparts and gave the Stros their 18th win in the month of June. Now nine games behind the Texas Rangers, the Astros are finally playing like the team fans expected to see when the season started.

As NFL teams take their final official break before things heat up with training camps there is a little NFL news. Colts QB Andrew Luck gets an extension and big pay raise 6-year, $140 million dollar deal through 2021. $87M is reportedly guaranteed making it the largest contract in NFL History.

On another NFL note, the sport lost legendary coach Buddy Ryan this week. I had a chance to cover Coach Ryan when he worked with the Oilers. We’ll talk about how he approached the game and how it has changed.
