As A Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault (DV/SA) Advocate and a Divorce Courtroom Advocate, Star has helped over a 150 DV/SA Survivors with safety planning, securing Order of Protection, understanding the dynamics of power and control, trauma, and healthy relationships. Star is CEO of Yor A Star Too LLC and Creator of Cultivating Clarity In Our Community (CCOC for Entrepreneurs) - an online community where she hosts live broadcasts called Saturday Sessions with Star, where she tackles difficult issues such as Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Leadership. It is her mission to encourage women to live their best lives even if you are bouncing back from a "life pause.” Star is currently laying the groundwork to write her first book “I Almost Missed It,” a novel about her personal struggles with abuse, raising one child with a mental health disorder, another currently being tested for autism, and teenage daughter sandwiched in between them.
