School Bus Drivers frequently deal with the darker side of a very responsible occupation. As we know, the chief aim of the job is the safe transportion of students to and from school. But much depends on the areas being serviced. And for that reason the job can either be very rewarding, or completely stressful; like a living hell. Hence, one can truly surmise that it take a special type of personality to stick with the job of school bus driving as a career. Thus the key factor here  is patience.

It takes patience to drive a tractor-trailer as well, but when  is compared to school bus driving a School Bus Driver face equal sets of danger. The job can be more treacherous. From 17-year experience of driving a school bus one can attest to the high degree stress experienced on a daily basis. Stress and the like often leads to health problems.

For one thing School Bus Drivers have to suffer the impatience of four-wheel drivers who illegally pass the "stop arm" especially at apartment complexes where dozens of students board.

In addition School Bus Drivers are also charged with the responsibility of making sure their students cross the road safely: shelter them from the dangers of illegal drivers mentioned above. And upon to of that, they also have to deal with disrespectful students and parents who think nothing about using profanity even with their students on board the bus. Lastly, very often there is no support from school administrators.

Ketchin-Hell is a talk show that provides a Forum for School Bus Drivers to share stories of their day-to-day woes. It is not intended to foster support for any political cause.  We are merely providing  entertainment and enlightment for the lests enlightened.
