The Sandhurst Military Skills Competition is this Friday-Saturday at West Point. The event initiated in 1967 with a challenge between The Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst of the United Kingdom and West Point. The event brings together for two arduous days of competition, teams of cadets from allied countries, sister Academies, Army ROTC programs and USMA. We appreciated hearing about this extraordinary competition from Queens, NY native, 22 year infantry officer, USMA '97 grad, Lt. Col Christopher Altavilla:
