Daniel Savage, Veterans Program Manager at Linked In:

"When I left the military, I wasn’t sure what I should do next, and I knew that those I served with often struggled with the same question, as we all sought to replicate the sense of purpose we felt wearing a uniform. I've been fortunate to have some incredible experiences so far, and in addition to hard work and discipline, I owe a significant amount of these opportunities to the advice, support, and good will of teachers, friends, mentors, and leaders along the way looking out for me, guiding me, and introducing me to opportunity at each step.

I found my purpose by committing myself to serving my brothers and sisters in arms, and today I spend my hours working to connect veteran talent with opportunity and helping to inspire them to expand their vision of all they can achieve post-service. It's good for those I served with, but it also strengthens our country, because veteran employees and business leaders supercharge our economy. At LinkedIn, I’m fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do this at massive scale, with the hope of impacting systems and creating social change in the process.

Please go to veterans.linkedin.com and linkedinforgood.linkedin.com to learn more about our efforts."
