We are concluding our series tonight. The biggest story most likely to be watched right now is the expose on music business mogul Sean Combs. Cassandra Ventura, known in the industry as "Cassie", has brought forth horrific charges of abuse by the mogul which includes unthinkable acts of sexual deviancy, verbal and mental abuse all the way up to unfair wages practices. On a more local front was the negligent dismissal of a young inmate's cry for medcial help in an Indiana women's facility that led to tragic, unecessary death of TaNeasha Chappell. The effects of stereotypical myths, celebrity worship, misogyny and skepticism all apply to the tragic and unnecessary damages inflicted on the victims in these stories, and in our interaction with each other using our own senses and thinking abilities. In the case of Sean Combs, Jada Pinkett Smith, R. Kelly, and other Hollywood big shots, is celebrity worship an added obstacle in our decision-making? In the case of TaNeasha Chappell, a young woman incarecerated for a non-violent petty crime, was stereotyping and skeptical judgement the problem? Tune in tonight with your thoughts by calling 347-327-9967 at 10 pm Eastern Time.
