The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly created a unique precedent in the way of life as we know it. No one can deny the spike in mental health issues, the fear and panic, the anger and conflicted views, the loss of income, or the political partisan wars among many other things. Through out all of the changes and conflicts, however, the effects of COVID on our children has gone underaddressed. Mental health concerns in our children, new findings on the Kawasaki-like illness, etc., has not been fully addressed and as the nation heads to reopen, how will our children fare?
