What kind of car do you drive? Is your television the latest version of HD? Gone is the measurement of a person based on their character, and in its place comes the measurement of a person based on how many gadgets, social media stranger counts, or material possessions a person has. Have we lost the values of character by actions to the time-saving world of gigahertz, sleekness, portability and version number? Has the lessons of parenting become one that sends the message that true success is based on how well you can flash in public?
